it’s been awhile since I’ve done this…

pictures sans writing are easy updates, which is why I joined the ranks of the typical tumblr user for awhile. now, I have more time and reignited interest (you might call it ‘resolution fever’) to continue posting and writing about things that are beautiful and interesting to me. regardless of whether or not you care to read my accompanying blurbs, I am merely practicing, not preaching. I recently read something about sharing in a place that completely escapes me right now (shit, I think I just realized another resolution I need to make):  by sharing our ideas instead of keeping them to ourselves, we open ourselves up new opportunities for creativity that are restricted by stale ideas and inspirations we hoard.

on that note, maybe you have already seen this video/heard this song since it has rightfully been doing some heavy rotations for awhile now. if that is the case, forgive my unoriginality, but I felt this Lana Del Rey music video was fitting. considering I haven’t stopped playing this song for about a month and have not posted any mosic oor videos in the longest time, I felt like sharing. plus there is some fantastic art direction, juxtaposition, and TIGERS! what’s not to love?
